This ship was built in the U.S.S.R. and entered service during June of 1977 as (a) Kapitan Dubinin. At that time she flew the flag of Russia. When that country broke up in the early 1990s, this ship was transferred to the Lithuanian Shipping Corporation and renamed (b) Kapitonas Dubinin during February of 1992. In September of 1996 she was renamed (c) Kapitonas Sevcenko and when this photograph was added to the archives she was still operational under this name.
