The 1978-built, 17,405-dwt, 47,089-grt, vehicle carrier Nosac Ranger is seen in these photographs while she was underway in the first picture at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on August 10th, 1988 and in the second while she was underway at Waalsorden, Holland during September of 1990. She was built in Tamano, Japan by the Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Company Ltd. and she entered service as Nopal Mascot for A.H. Mathiesen, Norway. In the time since her construction she has sailed as Nopal Mascot (84), Nosac Mascot (88), Nosac Ranger (96) and when this picture was added to the archives in September of 2002 she was still operational as Tellus for Wilhelmsen Lines AS, Norway under the U.S. flag.
