The SD-14 type general cargo ship Rose is seen in these photographs transiting
both upbound and downbound in the Welland Canal on two different ocassions. The bow shot was
taken as she was sliding the approach wall below lock 3 on October 2, 1991, and the stern shot was
taken a few weeks later when she was downbound above lock 2 on October 21st.
