The 1977-built, 6,828-dwt, 4,287-grt, bulk and general cargo vessel Victoria Faith is seen in this photograph while she was underway in the Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada on May 17th, 1992. She was built in Imabari, Japan by Nishi Zosen K.K. (Nishi Shipyard Joint Stock Co. Ltd.) for Baypark Transportation Ltd., Hong Kong. Construction on the ship began late in 1976 and she was launched during the Spring of 1977 as Alpine Sky however before she entered service in June of 1977 she was renamed Victoria Faith. In August of 1995 she was sold to Ahmed Fekhier & Khalsoun Al Sahyouni, renamed Khaldoun and re-registered out of Lattakia, Syria. When this picture was added to the archives in 12/2002 she was still operational under that name and her activities were being managed by Sahyouni Trade & Transport Maritime, Syria.
