The steamer Ruth Hindman is seen in this photograph transiting upbound in the Welland Canal
during the late afternoon hours of a day in September of 1978. At the time it was taken she was sailing southbound
in the canal north oc lock 3 and was approaching the Queenston Street bridge in St. Catharines, Ontario.
