Vac

The tug Vac is seen in this photograph transiting upbound in the Welland Canal
during the afternoon hours of October 30th, 1999. She was assising Alice A in towing the retired
Canada Steamship Lines self-unloader Tarantau upbound destined for Port Colborne where she is to be
dismantled. This picture was taken as the entire tow was approaching the wall below lock 1 in
St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
