The Calcite II is seen in these photographs transiting upbound in the Welland Canal
during the morning hours of October 16, 1989. The bow photograph was taken as she was approaching Glendale
bridge above lock 3 and the stern view was taken earlier as she was approaching lock 3 south of Homer bridge.
