Additional details

The McKeil Marine tug, PACIFIC STANDARD & barge, OCEAN HAULER entered the canal at Port Weller at around 09:10 however they were over a hour over their estimated time of arrival. At 09:33 they secured at wharf 1 in Port Weller harbour and the tug disconnected from the barge. She secured at the dock herself and took on a diver before casting off and heading back out into Lake Ontario as slowly as she entered. Somewhere along her trip up the lake a large piece of rope got tangled around her prop shaft and the diver was summoned to remove it.

Upon completion of that operation Pacific Standard returned to wharf 1 and re-secured to Ocean Hauler at 12:30. They resumed their upbound voyage shortly thereafter. - Thanks Rodger!!
