Additional details

WYATT McKEIL and OC 183 arrived off Port Weller piers at around 15:30 and were met by the ARGUE MARTIN which had come down from Port Weller Drydocks through lock 1 to assist the tow into the canal. Argue Martin took up the stern of OC 183 while Wyatt McKeil kept the bow.

They secured below lock one at 16:50 and remained there to await their turn in traffic. The barge was carrying three 'cold boxes' - ? from Montreal to Milwaukee. I have no idea what they are to be used for. They were each 96 ft long and weighed 156,000 lbs.
